Where do you guys, who shoot for gain, get your printing done? i.e. reliability/speed and quality more important than price.

    thanks

hey keith, is that the harvey norman in blanch? Whats the print quality like?

I get 8x12's for €3 a piece in the fuji place in blanch, upstairs enterance to dunnes stores. good quality too, and the guy there (jacob) is very nice and will do prints while you wait for no extra charge if you ask him nicely ;-)

Much better than the camera shop place downstairs by the fountain :(

Photobox.ie do a lovely job in my opinion...especially in BW prints,

turnaround is about 4-5 days but at €1.75 for a 10x8in print it's hard to argue...

I use the one in Airside as Blanch is more expensive. Just got five 18x12 prints done for €10 each, all from a Fuji machine and excellent quality and while you wait too, which is the big plus for me as nearly everything is wanted yesterday :) I never tried the ones upstairs, mostly if they are A4 or smaller they will come off the inkjet.

I use Harvey Norman in Airside.
    Brilliant quality every time.

    I use Photobox.ie when I'm not in a rush.

I was thinking of something on heavy paper that won't fade anytime soon etc.

Are HN and Photobox that standard? Never used them before.

Cheers for the tip Keith, will have to go check them out. Only matt prints at that size, or can they do gloss too? :)

I've heard GMS are are good actually, anyone else used them? Also I used Repro35 in Merrion square the other week and the prints were absolutely fantastic, really, really nice. Nice people there too.

Matte only from 8x12 upwards, doesnt really bother me as most stuff this size goes into frames.

I use an epson 7800, with generally fuji pearl paper (which is very good and good longevity)

I have done a bunch of stuff for boards members sure some of thm would tell you what my prints are like
