Splitting the chorus Cable

I have BB from Chorus and looking at getting the digital tv service. I have Sky.
What I want to do is to pipe the chorus around the house so I can plug the box in any of the bedrooms or the kitchen. I am going to get a sparks to chase the walls and do this to the work. I am going to use the best shielded satellite cable for this. Should I have any problems with my BB if I do this ? I am worried that it will mess it up. I am looking at splitting my chorus connection from 1 into 5 as they broadcast the analogue channels over it. Has anyone else here done that ?

Put a 2 way f-Splitter before the connection to your router, and then one feed to your tvs and the other back to your router, this is all chorus will do but I'm not sure if this can be classed as stealing....if you do it urself???

I've recently split my chorus feed into a new room. I have an old chorus f connector that I'd like to reuse as it appears sturdier than those twist on types, but it doesn't seem obvious how to reuse this type of connector, i.e. take it apart and insert a new cable. Is this possible only if you have a special crimping tool? Attached is a picture of said connector.

    Thanks
    W.

You will need a crimping tool to put those connectors you show on, but the one you have shown has already been crimped, so cannot be reused.

If your worried about the twist on F-Connectors coming off then simply tape them on...

That is for Satellite, not Cable.

    its for both

u can plug a sky dish with a quatro LNB, fm antena and a cable feed into it. Then you can use a triplex faceplace and have a single cable going to that. it will have a sat , cable and fm socket for you for each place you need an outlet.

i have one that gives me two feeds to both sitting rooms for sky+* and a single feed to each

*should i ever want to get such a satellite service

Surely it is overall for what the OP needs? They are looking for good quality cable distribution, not a full blown sat/cable/terrestrial solution. Cost for the hardware alone would be at least 3 times as much.

Your not supposed to split the UPC cable if you want to do this get them out to do it for you. I think this thread should be closed.
