    Hey,
Just a head ups, Keaphoto[albert] states you require a verified paypal account to make a purchase, however in order to verify your paypal you need to charge your ccard and wait for the the statement.
So for anyone in a rush or any newbies
Yes, you can purchase without a verified Paypal acct. Regards, Albert

Is that your first purchase from them? I had to wait a good while for my account to be verified, all the while Kea had to wait for my payment. They knew the score, but still waited until my account was verified.

really? DAMN LIARS. yeah first payment, i wish i had done it earlier as this is taking ages and i think you need to verify your account to lift the less than 1000euro limit they give you anyway. So void thread ! sorry.

    awful. :(

Eh no. Not liars. Albert shipped me a 40D and I am not verified. They will look at your previous purchase history (with them and others on ebay) and may also ask for proof of address etc. But you do not have to be verified.

Oh no I didn't mean that. If they say you don't need to be verified, take their word. I was just saying that two months ago I did have to be verified, even though the fact that I wasn't verified was holding up them receiving their payment. Was just asking was it a case of you being a repeat customer and letting you off with it this time.

By the way, to speed things up, ring up your bank and get your credit card available online. Then you can get the verification code quicker than waiting for the statement to come in the post.

If you have online access to your credit card account (and we are all IT/Internet nerds here, aren't we) then IIRC you should be able to complete the verification process relatively quickly.

see problem is i got a student ccard 2 years ago, so my limit is 600, i added my mothers ccard but obviously it needs verifying aswell and i do not think she has it set up online, saying that i dont have my ccard set up online either but thats useless for this issue anyway.

However, i can transfer funds online from my account, wondering if anyones used that with kea?

as far as I understand it you can have a paypal account that has a credit card registrated to it (by the means of the 4 digit on your statement) and you can have an address registered account, and AFAIK they may not be the same thing

you can have your address registered but not have lifted the "x" euros limit on your purchases, I think...

i registered my ccard online and rang up to up my limit to 1000 euros
but i got charged with stupid 1 year stamp duty of 30 euros, so think now im on 970 or some bull****
