Bit of a weird one here,
Got a PS3 a few weeks ago, loving it..i work weird hours so i get to play it when i want to.
Thing is,i live with the missus...she doesnt really share the passion for the PS3 (gaming in general)
GTA is out soon, and im afraid i will become terribly addicted and this will result in
    a.me moving out.
    b.She kicking my ass
    c.Buying a new tv.
Is there any game out there that would interest her??
I was thinking of waiting for rockband and thus resulting in something we could play together, have a bit of a laugh.
    Any recommendations?

Go onto the Playstation store and get Loco Roco Cocorecho, that game will appeal to anyone. For something a bit deeper maybe try Folklore, it's an interesting story driven game with a good female lead, and it's set in Ireland too. And for multiplayer, Singstar is fantastic.

My GF very strongly dislikes Warhawk. However she's quite fond of the GTA III series games and may take a shine to GTA IV. She was really very taken with Shadow Of The Colossus and Ico and often asks me (usually when I'm playing Warhawk) when those guys are going to do a PS3 title.

Little Big Planet also appeals to her (and to me) so I'm planning to get that whenever it's out.

Hot Shots Golf: World Tour. Very fun and addictive game, has cartoony style.
Easy to pick up and play.

Although a short game, Drakes fortune is good craic. Its adventurous, It's witty, playability is fantastic and you have problems to solve. My missus and the kids solve the problems for me while i enjoyed shooting anything that moved.

PixelJunk Monsters , from the PS Store, is brilliant, hectic and fun in 2 player co-op ( cheap too!! )
