DAB Song Listings?

Hey, just listening to RTE 2XM; and in their website it says every track played is listed on a DAB Radio's screen. My radio is a Pure Chronos iDock, which I got from Argos.

Only thing I can find in the manual is that >> or << appear next to radio stations with extra information; this so far has only appeared on RTE Radio 1; RTE Radio 1 Extra. I am receiving my signal from Three Rock Mountain, and I'm based in Leixlip.

Nice machine, btw

Pressing the info button repeatly should show up the song names. If there is no text, wait a moment to see if any scrolling text appears. It normally begins with... NOW PLAYING.... then song title BY artist. It only works on RTÉ's digital-only music stations, which are Gold, 2XM and RTÉ Junior/Chill.

I wish they'd show song titles via RDS on FM radios here like they do on the continent. I loved that feature in rental cars!

lol, Thanks It actually just appeared today! I'd say they were having issues with it or something; now I get "Now Playing.... X BY Y" on all RTE channels; it's pretty cool but doesn't change fast enough with the song (you need to wait for it to finish scrolling to bring up next song title; which looks very weird on a fast track change). I could get all the other info (Type, Bitrate, MUX + Freq); so I knew it wasn't me! All I got before was "Now Playing RTE 2XM...." and some other byline along with it.

Speaking of which; anyone notice that it has a very set list of songs? I've only had this since Saturday last; and if I could get more song titles I would have spotted many more repeats (I love the Keep it moving [not the actual title; escapes me now] song from the Doves; wrote the title down; gonna get it!). I love it's commercial and ad-free; always wished RTE would emulate the BBC where it's budget allowed .

Ah yes, there are times it doesn't work. But they need this info as its still technically a "trial".
