wireless broadband

    which of the wireless broadbands available is the best? the only ones i know available are the portable 3G,Vodafone,O2.. are there anymore and if so which?wat is the cost of gettin them n how much per month? is the download speeds good or signal strength good on them??

    any help wud be great guys n gals, thanks alot! :)

    3, O2 and Vodafone are mobile Internet, not to be confused with wireless broadband where a provider attaches a reciever to your wall/roof and cables to your pc.

    Start by reading the FAQ. That details the types of broadband available, including fixed wireless and 3G. There are a number of posts about detailing experiences with both types of wireless on the forum. Use the search form.

    If you are in an area covered by one of the fixed wireless providers (IBB, Clearwire, etc.) then they'll probably be cheaper and faster. If not, or if you need broadband on the go, then your only option is 3G.
