yes but toulouse can cut you open from anywhere so it will be close.

Very dangerous to look more than one game ahead in the HEC or it could come back to bite you badly. Look at the Ospreys yesterday as a prime example. Judging by how complacent and arrogant they were I'd say Ryan Jones has his victory speech for May 24th written after the grand slam was won.

If it was in France yes, outside France no way. They struggled to beat a Scotish side and got beaten by Leicester and Leinster so far on the road.

    Name the Finalist
    Munster v London Irish 3 - 1
    Munster v Toulouse 4 - 5
    Toulouse v Saracens 3 - 1
    London Irish v Saracens 10 - 1

Struggled to beat a Scottish side that both Leicester and Leinster lost to, and a side that ran Munster just as close as they did Toulouse (and yes, I'm aware that it was "only" the ML that Edinburgh played Munster in). Toulouse have a greater European pedigree than Munster, will be a great final if it turns out that way.

I'll have mixed feelings about a Munster-Toulouse final. On one hand it would be an incredible game - pitting the Europe's top two against each other. And on the other I'd be really pi$$ed off that I didn't buy tickets for it when I had the chance!

Come on a Munster vs London Irish final :D

Munster to beat Saracens and get into the final. Thank god Ospreys slipped up I was a bit worried about them. Munster should beat Toulouse , Will be an amazing final . They have a much more complete team now. I was shocked at Dowlings performance, I hadn't rated him, he played really well . Was that Dennis Hurley's heineken Cup debut...... brilliant. The whole back line was brilliant and Doug Howlett !!

escobar, dowling's been playing like that all season! the timing of his injury was very unfortunate.

That being true it's very good for Ireland. Alot of competition for places now. From what I saw he's there or there about. Wonder how the new coach will select players..

Munster/Toulouse final, with the temperamental and highly strung Toulouse to wilt/fall apart on the road and give one of their jekyll and hyde performances..(come on, let me dream)...but I would love to see an London Irish/ Munster final...that would be one great day out....

I would like most to see a Munster/Toulouse final. I think they are the best 2 teams in the competition this year, and both deserve to make it after winning their respective groups of death. It would be a great final, and i think it would be too close to call.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,238 ✭✭✭Gelio

Although I wouldn't bet on london Irish to win I still wouldn't bet against them! ;)

    New match leinster v munster

    Who will win?
What kind off team will munster field?

Leinster to win irrespective of what sort of team Munster put out.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,763 ✭✭✭✭Inquitus

Irrelevance to triumph over apathy this weekend, and Munster to march on on the 27th.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,238 ✭✭✭Gelio

I hope Munster put out a half decent team

Because I'm going to the game!!!:pac::pac:

GLORY GLORY, so this is the thread to be reading tomorrow evening and Sunday.

Irrespective of what you have read and heard, kind sir. You have never relished the Munster determination, either in the team or fan base.

It's going to be the best match in a long time, but Munster will grind a win.

BY ten would be pushing it. It's going to be a great match, but the Munster win will be only be by a point or two, three, four, five

Leinster will top their hc group
Munster could do anything, If they don't top their group I don't think they will go through.
