Anyone have any tips on where's the cheapest place to get Trek novels in Dublin? I'm looking for a few DS9 and Peter David ones, have already raided Chapters second hand selection, they're selling them for 4 euros.

Chapters was in fact your best bet, few charity shops around grafton street. George's Arcade you'll find some id say.

The most popular authors are Peter David and Diane Carey I think.

Anything from Next Gen by Peter David is pretty good.
Another good Next Gen book is Dark Mirror (Picard in the mirror universe).

I haven't read many TOS, VOY or ENT books, although TOS "Ship of the Line" is pretty good. Voyager's "The Garden" starts out well but fades a bit.

I'm most familiar with DS9 and my fave early DS9 books are:
Fallen Heroes, Proud Helios, Station Rage, The Siege

The "season 8" DS9 books are worth checking out if you are a DS9 fan - Avatar, Mission Gamma, Rising Son, Unity.

There's some good info here on Season 8 but watch out for spoilers:
