Tag Rugby in Athlone

    Hi guys. I'm new to these boards. I was wondering if there are any tag rugby teams in Athlone area who are looking for/willing to accept new players. I played a couple of times in college and would love to give it a go again. I registered with the tag rugby website last year but never heard anything so if anyone knows of anything going on in Athlone could they let me know. (Or even in Longford if needs be - I work in Longford so either would work)

    Might be an idea to head down to the clubs where the tag nights are on and see if you can find a team then.

    Have you the oppertunity ot start a team in work or amongst friends/friends' work teams?

    IRFU have Tag in Navan if that suits you any better. You registered with the other tag organisation by the sounds of it. Best bet is just to turn up at whatever ground running tag is the one you wish to play at.

    Looks like Mullingar is the nearest to you ?
    This seems to an official IRFU endorsed tournament but I am sure many clubs do their own thing - do a google and get contact numbers on the clubs' websites.
