Could anyone recommend a good reptile/snake vet? I've a python with laboured breathing and although she seems over the worst of it thanks to the lads in Reptile Haven I'd still like to get her checked out by a professional.

I'm living near Mullingar and still work in South Dublin so travel isn't really a problem.

    thanks in advance.

Got an appointment with her yesterday and very impressed, hopefully my python is on the mend.

laboured breathing indicates some form of respitory infection - the python should be sorted in a few days - make sure your tank is warm enough to speed recovery & help prevent further infections.

He has clinics in stillorgan, kenilworth square, and dundrum,

Thanks, always nice to have an option. I was just very impressed with Barbera's setup. Bit expensive but it's specialist stuff. She seems better already.

It's 65 for a standerd large exotic checkup, if there's medication, tubed feeding etc then it's extra.
