I'm wondering do the marks you get in 1st year and subsequent years up to final year have an affect on final degree awarded ie. 1st , 2.1, 2.2?
    Thanks

I don't think any course in UCD considers your first year results at undergraduate level.

    As for other years.

Most four year courses have 3rd and 4th year counting though it depends on the course in what way they count, usually 30/70 but again, check your own course.

As for three year courses. Well arts is 50/50. I'm not sure about law though.

Look for the marks and standards booklets for your course, that'll give you the answer
