By ugly, I hope you don't mean those with beer guts, or perhaps those with receeding hairlines?

I've updated the thread title with what I think you are talking about.

And to kick it off, I know of a man who sat down in a bar and asked the barman for, and I quote, "one of those pink drinks". And he was at the beers on Friday night.

    Vitamin Shakes

Frozen cocktails (put in a blender with lots of ice cubes) - e.g. Strawaberry Daquiries (although I must admit to having about 8 of these in Capitol last nigh *rubs head*) you can't go wrong for a fiver like???

    Champagne cocktails

    Andrews Liver Salts

Any drink that involves it being decorated with the following:

    - miniature umbrella's (don't see the point in these at all, after all the drink is already wet:confused:)
-Sparklers set alight (after all we just wanna get drunk, not visit A&E)
    - Pieces of fruit (after all if we were hungry we'd pop out to the local chipper)
-sugar on the rim of the glass (unless your a diabetic)

    :D;)

Any pussy alcopops shouldn't be allowed.
Anything that makes your tongue turn a colour... unless I've missed out on some manly drink that does this.

Mickey Finns. It's not a shot people, no matter what flavour, it's mouth wash that you can swallow if you choose. Ban this faux-drink at once I say. If you want a shot, drink Jaeger, or Absinthe or something with over 40% alc. Vol. not that crud.

  • Moderators Posts: 24,367 ✭✭✭✭ChewChew

Jaeger bombs. oh yum yum yum.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,172 ✭✭✭Don1

Remove the bomb part. Why ruin it with red bull? Drink the shot, then go back to the beer. Although jaeger red bull as a long drink when full of beer and sleepy at the end of a very long night can do wonders! :D

Thankfully, none of the brothers have heard of such a drink.

In the same way that white chocolate is the sweeping off the floor after they make real chocolate.

Which reminds me - mint chocolate Baileys. Or any flavour Baileys for that matter.

Or any mint-flavoured drink ... such as creme de menthe, which is not only foul and vile in aspect, it looks like snot.

I agree, it looks like crap and tastes it too. I only tried it before because the bar was giving free shots of it with each pint. :pac: Awful stuff.

    Do they still make Ritz?

The ultimate non-brother drink is Babycham.

Unbelievably they still make it, my jaw nearly dropped when I saw it recently on the shelf of an ASDA in the NE of England.

I make loads of them every weekend for customers, nearly half of them are for men.

Loads of guys (and girls) drink wine on nights out over here. Very often in nightclubs. Mainly pinots and merlots during the day time and then cheap merlots at night.

The drinking culture is different here than back home. A lot of guys will drink spirits on nights out and not much beer. Well, more so people that drink in the city. Those that drink out of town are all beer heads.

We'd first have to know what it was before being able to tell you. I somehow doubt any of the Brothers have ever ordered or made one.
