Psp just suddenly stopped working, was powered off and just wont turn on. No lights even when plugged in to charger. Any ideas?

Anyone know anywhere to get it repaired?

What did you do the last time you were playing it?

If there's no lights at all coming on, I'm guessing a power problem from a fall or something?

If you can get your PSP to me, I can try Pandora Battery setup to see if it can be revived.
I have seen it happen where the flash has gotten corrupted and won't turn on.

Worth a shot if its 3 yr old, must be launch unit.

Maybe worth a shot, but how do i know i can trust you?

Didn't get a bang, was just left down & won't power up

And ya, it was a launch unit, well I bought one originally not long after launch, it packed in after 1 week, I returned it and got this one 2 weeks later, no idea if it was repaired or replaced at the time.

Ongarite is one of the last good guys. He helped me out with an XBox and XBMC and when I had trouble getting rid of custom firmware on my PSP he came to my rescue. Just do a search in the Playstation forum and search for posts by Ongarite.
Or you could check the feedback forum where I started a thread giving the guy major thumbs up for helping me out with my PSP. He went above and beyond the call of duty.

    He's A1, a real good guy.

Ok, Sorry for doubting You ongarite, I don't usually frequent the Playstation forum as I'm an a pc gamer. You'll find me in the Building & Upgrading forum in Comp/Tech. The Psp belongs to my 9yo son who misses it dearly.

Where You based ongarite, so i can try get this 2 you? Would it be safe to post? I'm in the west BTW, living in Roscommon but working in Mayo ever day.

Edit, I see your in Dublin, maby you could pm your address & i'll post it securely

If you don't want to post it to me as the cost may be quite high, we may be able to find someone in the West who can flash your PSP with Pandora Battery (special service routine to re-flash a PSP).
I'll start a thread in console modding forum and see if someone can help you.
