    Hi,

Hoping someone can offer me some advice. Being the wine lover that I am, I often buy small bottles to have at home. One of these, which I can only pressume had been sitting there for over two months was tucked away in my room. Tonight I bought a bottle with the same label and stupidly ended up confusing the two and drink a glass of the old wine that had been sitting there for A LONG TIME. It had been open about two months ago although I had replaced the screw cap on the bottle.
Just realised my mistake and am sick with worry, Have heard stories about people dying from mold-infected things such as this, and that it can cause brain damage etc. Not sure what to do?
Has anone ever done similir and how did you fare?

    Any advice welcomed.

    R.

You'll be grand, don't worry about it lad. Wine only matures with age.:)

you're still here to tell the tale so dont worry about it. it might be advisable to put some toilet paper in the fridge though :)

Again don't worry about it - must have tasted like vinegar though ?

You'll be fine, if you consider yourself a wine lover though how in the name of Jeebus did you drink a whole glass of two-month old wine?

For the record, I wouldn't bother with those small bottles, think they are sh1t quality. I'd recommend sinking the bottle or sharing it with someone in future;)

If the wine had been sealed again, it should be fine. Wouldn't worry about it.

Go to your doctor or A&E if you're worried.
