    hi guys.

listening to pat kenny this morning on radio one. on the travel segment with eoin corry there was mention of a direct beauvais airport to disney transfer. so no need to go via paris.

said it was supposed to start in april but looks like may now.

there were no more info or links given.

the boss and myself are going with 4 small kids in mid may, so a "economical" direct transfer would be great. i know the are limo/minivan options available but they are quite expensive.

just wondering had any of you heard any more info, like who might be running the service and a more definite start time.

    regards

    shovel

This service has been available for years. Just search this forum (or Google!) for info :)

I could be wrong but those links you give Ponster look like the limo/minivan options the OP already knows about...I too would be interested to learn more about a direct shuttle that is economical

The OP didn't mention that they knew any minivans and is only looking for a way to get to Disney without going via Paris.

What kind of service are you talking about snowdaze?

The cheapest way is probably to hire a car, and drive, it's just over an hour away, and cars are available for abotu €30 a day...

You can also do 1 way car rentals, between that airport and Disney, dropping your car off at the car rental office in Disney (not sure of the company, maybe Europcar). Then do the same on your last day.
Don't know of anyone who's done it, but read about it before.
    Hope that helps!

I have done that with Hertz before and it works out great if you are happy to drive a LHD car..in France..cost €34 plus fuel each way..

I would be interested in same as shovel however for when I go on my own with the kids - I am not up to the driving

What exactly is 'economical' for you though?

It's €112 for 4 people from Beauvais to Disney (direct) with AlwayShuttle.

    It's €88 via Paris (bus & metro/RER)

How much cheaper exactly do you expect it to be?
