Does anybody know if the schedule for the rest of season four is out yet?

The US Schedule was posted already:


4x09 - 24th April
4x10 - 1st May
4x11 - 8th May
4x12 - 15th May - Finale Part 1
4x13 - 22nd May - Finale Part 2

I'd imagine the RTE schedule is the same, just 4 days later. No confirmation though.

Everyone should also know that there won't be the usual 2 hour finale this year. It's being split over two weeks as per the above schedule.

hehe, you're a little out of the loop I'm afraid. The writers made a deal with ABC last year to do 3 more seasons of 16 episodes each. They only had 8 eps completed when the WGA strike started in November. They resumed shooting a few weeks ago but only have time to make 5 more eps before the end of the season. Tbh we're lucky to be getting more than 8.

After season 3 they announced it would be 48 more episodes, as 3 seasons of 16 episodes each.

But because of the strike, Season 4 was cut down to 13.

Maybe this means Seasons 5 and 6 will have slightly more than 16 episodes?

Im hoping that they are going to cram the action of 8 episodes into the 5 left in series 4

they are, the writers said it in one of the podcasts

Yeah the season is still going to end the way they originally planned but some flashbacks (the Freighties, Rousseau) and other plot-lines (Jacob?) that they were originally going to do this season have been shifted into next.

The 3 missing episodes will be added on to season 5 & 6.

I think in a way the final 8 episodes' storyline being condensed into 5 episodes could be a blessing in disguise. Does anyone know how many (if any) of the remaining 5 ep's are bing written by Cuse & Lindelof?

Next episode is now supposed to be postponed on Sky until Sunday May 11, returns as expected on Monday April 28 to RTE 2.

I expect this is to avoid having a 2 week gap between 4x12 and 4x13.

Luvley juvley, not only will I be tucking into the new GTA around this time, but also some lush new episodes of Lost, and I have Jericho to get through. Better head to Tesco's and stock up on Pringles and Haribo so.
