So, I'm giving a presentation on Monday and of course I need to pick up a cable to connect to the projector.

I've got a Mini DVI > DVI cable already and I've got no use for a VGA cable. Long story short, I'm a student and I'm cheap.
Would I get away with buying the cable and then returning it after the presentation?

you should be able to pick up a vga cable for around €8 and always handy to have in case you need to make another presentation. Contact Aidan @ Custom Computers (01 456 5640) they should sort you out.

I'm in Cork, also it's not a standard VGA cable or even a DVI > VGA. It's a Mini DVI > VGA cable.

Theres cheap, and then theres cheap. Buy one and keep it in case you need it again.
