IP Conflict on Eircom wireless

    Hi

I have a laptop set up with Eircom wireless broadband using their Netopia 2247 wireless router. This is working fine.

I am now trying to set up a second laptop to use the same connection.

When I turned on the second laptop I got an error on both displays telling me that there is an IP conflict with another device on the network.

I have just run the Eircom installation CD and have come to the final page where it gives the SSID and the WEP key. I'm not quite sure where to go to enter this info. Also the Wireless Network Connection just says "Acquiring network connection".

Can anyone help me out from here?

    Thanks.

It sounds like you have assigned both IP address's on the Laptop or PC. I'd check and make sure both are set to Auomatic.

That seems to have been the problem alright! Thanks!
