Wondering where is the best place to get alloys repaired?

Bought a 530d but the alloys are kerbed, the alloy laquer is coming off the chrome and alloy part of the wheel.

This is what the wheels look like!

    Try http://www.mobilewheelrepair.com/

they are fully mobile and come to you...

I'm getting 4 wheels done as I've had an issue with the laquer peeling etc...

They are very good and do a lot of high end repairs...

i had those wheels, i got mine refurbed in the place in bray, however i had to bring them back and get them to remove the lacquer as it peeled, had to keep polishing them instead, i didnt mind, you may?

Who in Bray does this? The lacquer on my alloys is peeling and also there is small blisters that have turned white which is probably water getting into tiny holes.

Depends on the damage, I was quoted around 300 euro by Collins in Bray (wefixalloywheels.com) for all 4, 2 are bad, 2 are ok.

I used www.carfit.ie in Naas/Newbridge recently and found the guy good to deal with-if you want anything other than repairs he has to send the rims away though...

Said they are just crap. The mobile repair guy wanted €90 per rim for mine.

I've used collins in bray. Very good work at a reasonable rate. They fixed some pretty bad curb damage replaced some chunks taken out and resprayed. They even balanced the wheels before i collected the car.

I've some scuffing to one of my alloys, but the problem is they're not "silver" like 99% of alloys around, they're what Fiat call "Shadow Black". I can see them being difficult to re-paint afterwards, has anyone had experience of non-silver ones being repaired?

I have been quoted €90 pw. This is for the kerbing removed, and the alloys painted.

Anyone know of an Alloy wheel repair person/company in Cork or Tipperary (south). I have a buckle on a 17" alloy (pothole damage) which needs sorting .

I'm getting my alloys repainted by a guy in Cork on Saturday called Leo Whealan - 086 4086923. Price is quite good and will post pictures when the works done.

I got a number for a garage in Tip Town that apparently does them too but haven't called them - 062 31108

Thanks. Do you know if he would do buckles? I will call him too.

I know there is a guy on the Portlaois to tullamore road that repairs buckled alloys. The girlfriend had a wheel with two buckles on the rim, and got it repaired for 40yoyo, not bad at all. I'll have to get the contact details off herself if you need them.
