Just wondering ... is their a certain way to which you break down all the wedding costs ? Do people normally borrow the main amount for the wedding , the part that doesnt come from father/presents?? Or is it pure saving ?? Is it both ??
We have saved an x amount of money but just cant come up with the remaining 6K ...is it best to borrow ??

We're saving hard but will be about 10K short so we're borrowing on variable interest loan, that way if we receive cash gifts etc. we can pay it off quickly, plus at the rate we have been saving we'll pay it off fairly quickly anyway, within months. But it really does depend on your financial situation.
