Ouija Boards....

What is the story with Ouija boards. Why are they so dangerous for novices. Apart from them scaring the dung out of teenagers, is there something more sinister that can happen. I had a scary experience when I was a teen with one, as I posted in the Ghosts thread, but some folk give grave warnings about them. Has anyone first hand experience of things going wrong? Do you always need a group to do it in or can it be done alone?

I dont think tghey are soemthing to be messed around with as the spirit can vent alot of anger via them.

Personally, I have never tried. I would like too, but not alone.

In themselves they are simply material objects, but provide a focus for personal energies. The results can be frightening or uplifting depending on motive, etc.

They are like a spiritual 'chemistry set' containing all the ingredients to make a very big bang.
