    I've had Tesco Finest Sancerre, and it was rather good for the money.

    Their €4.99 bottle of Chilean actually isn't terrible, doesn't taste all vinegary or petrolly like plonk tends to. That said I never drink it straight, always mix it with (Tesco brand) 7up. gawd I'm such a student.

    Their "French White Wine" is great for when you've already had a few beers. It needs to be chilled. Light, fresh taste. €4.99!
