I've played madden for a long time and I'm really good (on the ps2) But I changed to the Xbox and have madden 06 for it but I just cant get used to the damn controller for madden! (everything else is fine)

I'm a fan, I dont play PES/Fifa just madden and I love it, Now if I could some how get my PS2 controller to work on my Xbox I'd be happy!

play it on PC, PS2 and PSP althogh the PS2 version is the best.the other 2 are always just that step behind in content.

i dont really see any more improvements that EA could make with Madden.its such a good game as it is and its jam-packed with content so theres not much else to do

I have Madden 08 on the PS3 and I wish you could download roster updates over PlayStation Network & X-Box Live, (Micheal Vick is still on the roster) apart from that I wouldn't change a thing.

Madden 08 is the best sim ive played on any console, it looks best on the PS3 naturally and i would recommend it to any fan

Yup, I'm a fan of the Madden series. I'd like to get my hands on the college football games too at some stage.

Madden 08 all the way. I'm the starting QB for the Chiefs in career mode and broke pretty much every NFL record in my first year :cool:

They make little improvements every year and I've yet to be disappointed since I got my first Madden game on the Mega Drive when it came as a double cartridge with EA Hockey.

I have madden 07 for the wii and I have to adnit its way better than i thought it would be.

I have the same problem with the Pats, I went with it for a while and I got a great running game now. It helps if you mix things up a bit.

Does anyone play ncaa football, its an american import, i think, i wouldn't mind gettin it , but obviously the players and team quality changing every year, would make the game out of date fast, has anyone played nfl head coach for the pc, i think its like football manager but ewith am. football?

Yeah I bought it off eBay there a few months ago, never really got round to playing too much into it.

Starting off it takes a few hours just to get through the tutorial and into preseason, lots of meetings and training sessions to get through. Very realistic in that sense.

Very much the NFL version of Champ Manager, graphics arent that great which is one thing but it is an old enough game. There is a Head Coach 2 coming out soon though, same time as the next Madden I think which I might look into getting.

Also don't really like playing when the rosters are 4-5 years out of date, gets kind of confusing at times.

been playing madden since'97/98 and it is brilliant the new weapons on playstation takes a while to get used to.
one gripe i have is def pass interference is very sensitive and is sometimes called on off pass interference which drives me mad. having said that i am in my4th francise year and 3 superstar year so i'm addicted.

The problem is that there is no UK version of NCAA available - in that if you buy it you will be unable to play it on a non - american playstation / x - box (tried before ).

Currently have Madden 08 on the x - box. It gets better every year.

Anyone play the one ESPN game that was released a few years back?? Boomer doing the weekly recaps awesome! In fact I would say it was better than the Madden of that same year (which one escapes me possibly 06).

Traveling the world for a year and Madden 08 on the PC is keeping me very happy!!!

Ya, the ESPN games were mental... The last one (2K5?) was, I think, better than the Madden games... Pity EA went and spoiled the fun...

Nah no crazy tackles or celebrations thats that mad game that came out last year you are thinking off the name escapes me. ESPN's games were class much better than Madden. And the in helmet mode was class but tough. And Chris Berman at half time always a treat
