GT5 Prologue online problems!

I have Eircom broadband with the usually wireless router which works fine with the PC, laptop and indeed any other online game with the PS3. However, when I try to enter an online race at the last stage I get an error message saying could not connect to port [error 60:04000000].

Looking at the GT News section they suggest something about UPnP. I then look at my Network Setting on the PS3 and it says UPnP is unavailable. I then go through the custom settings and enable UPnP. When I finally get to the connection test section it once again says UPnP is unavailable and that the system is 'NAT 3', it then has a little speil about how NAT 3 may restrict online game play and tells me to refer to the 'online manual' without giving any actual solution! Also, when I start GT5 it says that the time and date are wrong. The time on the PS3 is correct, but in the home page of GT5 the little clock is one hour behind. Dont know if this makes any difference.

Does anyone know how I can configure either the game itself or my PS3 so as it would allow online access?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated:)

You change the NAT type in the game itself. Its in the Network settings in Options screen.

dunno if this helps but when im joining a race it says nat type 3 on the bottom and if i go into network settings in options the unp is set to "mode 1"

i'm with eircom and have ps3 on wireless too. i havent changed anything. theres an option in the network settings in the game to clear the system cache, maybe that might help

my date is wrong too in the game and i havent found where to change it

    Solution (Second from bottom paragraph)
    Regarding Port Forwarding (Opening Ports)

If your router is identified as Type 2 or Type 3 and you cannot play online successfully, please set your router to forward the following port to your PLAYSTATION 3 system. (Depending on your setup, it may also be necessary to make network settings on the PLAYSTATION 3 system side).

    UDP: port 3658

You can use Portforward.com to get instructions for your particular kind of router.

the date is usually ok the number at the top refers to the month ie 4 = april the date is underlined in the below calender. my router comes up as nat 3 everything works ok though. the upnp is more for use with game chat which gt 5 doesn't have, yet.

I haven't had any problems getting GT5 to go online but like some other posters here the time is one hour behind. Anyone know why this is?
