I'm trying to become a full-time artist and considering learning how to frame my own painting.s Anyone have any experience with this? where did you get your tools, did you learn from a book? have you had any luck finding people to frame for professionally?

I'm hoping it could be an addition to my painting in bringing in some money.

    Thanks,
    -Aisling

You can find most of what you need in O'sullivan in Camden street,
the web site is not very handy, but you can check at least the location...
    http://www.dosgs.ie/
there is all the material you can need but also the books for the topics.
Hope to you to see about the price your are ready to spend. Maybe it could be more interesting to bring them directly to professional framer. If you have a lot to framed you can have a bulk price or something like that.
