    hi Guys

I know these questions have no doubt been answered here a million times before but Ive tried going back over threads and its taking me ages!

Just got a Blackberry for work today and its fine, but its not really suitable to set up to a hands free kit is it? Im a sales rep and I dont see the point in our boss supplying these if we cant use them while driving, probably a booth tooth thingy but my current hands free kit is excellent

    any info would be appreciated

also want to ask, when you send an email from the blackberry sometimes it shows the registered trade mark saying its come from a blackberry handheld but mine doesnt I need it to say this to account for the short replies I will be giving from it, as the keypad is a nightmare!

    any help would be appreciated

    thanks

Yes, you can set it up with a car kit. I use mine with a Parrot blue tooth car kit and it works fine.

As for the sig, that is something that is set up on the mail server or through your service provider.

Are you using POP3 email a/c or is there is a server in work?

Also, what network are you using the blackberry on? Vodafone or O2.

On Vodafone - http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.ie/ - this is where I can turn on/off the Blackberry auto-signature.

I reckon if you are using exchange server, you will have to talk to your I.T. person in work to set up the signature on the emails you send from it.

To set up the car kit. Turn on Bluetooth on your Blackberry.
    Settings - Bluetooth.

Then, when you turn on your car, the car kit should power up. On the Blackberry, under bluetooth, go to options and "connect".

It should then search for and find the car kit.

It will probably ask for a password - it's usually 12345

Set it to auto connect to device.

That's a real rough guide to setting it up...you should have a manual for the car kit. It will explain how to conect a device better in that.

    hi again,

tried to turn on the blackberry signature but no luck, think that page may be down and just realised it is a POP3 server

    thanks
