Firstly, I think we need an Airsoft Intenational Discussion Thread that can pop up on a monthly basis.(Mods may disagree and lock it:eek:)

Just got this months. Guess who's in it? The IAA with a nice little letter from Sean the P.R.O. Advertising ftw. Well done lads. Also what happened to the Birthday Shoot write up? One may be in order for the gathering.

Also, there's a nice little display of gas SMGs aka "Gun Porn":p

One last thing, TM wtf have you done. An AEP USP that looks like a cheap cyma with all these gizoms. Have some self respect TM.

    Lethal.

Not bad. Covered the pattern 58 webbng and the old style camo jacket and od pants. Reccomends NI gloves and a wooly hat to round it off.

The L1A1 is interesting, heavy and limited to semi auto.

but L1A1 is sweet none the less

The trousers are known as lightweights. Excellant to dry out when wet but no insulation, bloody cold, they were standard issue wear, but not in the falklands, it was too cold for them.

The British Army L1A1 was only issued as a single shot weapon. Not like the Irish FN, which had a semi and auto.

Is it the star SLR or some other brand? I seem to recall that
King Arms were due to release the SLR but it was delayed for a re-design.

About the FN ... does anyone know if the FN FAL (as close as possible to what the PDF used) is available anywhere?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 370 ✭✭padmundo

Not at the moment... well not a perfect likeness anyway. King Arms do a similar FN but it has a plastic stock and isn't exactly as long as the FN used by the Irish Army

www.gunsworkshop.net do a beautiful L1A1 and from the same page they have this quote... "More custom FAL series available soon, please keep checking with us"

Anyway this is off topic, there is a discussion regarding the FALs here ===> http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055232260

I like the idea of this thread, but as a self confessed shameless pedant, could I put in a request that the title of the thread be changed so that it spells International correctly?
