hey guys at the moment we have a system of normal fones, with 4 lines(4 seprate numbers) We ring Eu countries allout to order products etc..Im wondering what is the best way to set up a voip system im looking to have 2 or maby 3 voip fones.is it possiblee that i could just get an adaptor so it could creatue a new line on the fones we have now ?(like if i wanted to use voip i press line 7 on the fone instead of pressing 1,2,3,4 to ring from the fone lines)is this possible i pursume you would have to program the fone,.

or would it be best just to get a completely seprate fone for voip.

last question who are the best voip providers ? atm we are with Bt do they have any Voip partners ? or would skype/blueface be better ?

    thanks andy

    Hi

    Take a look at : http://www.blueface.ie/business/plans.aspx

You can always give them a call to explain your needs.

Keep your normal landline though. I'd say that for business use, it's better to receive calls on normal landline so you are always available and you always have good call quality for inbound calls. VoIP is still a new technology and even if its reliability greatly improved, I would keep the old phone system for inbound calls for security.

Regarding the hardware, there are phone with at the same time POTS ("normal" phone) and VoIP. You can do a quick google search and you'll find some.
