KVM Switch Help

I have a Dell XPS running Vista with a bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse via one USB port. My old computer is a workstation running XP Pro with a standard plug-in keyboard and mouse. I want to control both computers using the bluetooth keyboard and mouse set-up. I tried Peats but they only have a KVM switch that is suitable for the standard keyboard/mouse set-up. Anyone have any suggestions? I am not very techie so any help will be appreciated.:D

Im not sure if there is a bluetooth kvm switch on the market to be honest. I do believe some of the newer ones with work with wireless usb keyboards and mice.

A quick free solution is to install logmein ( www.logmein.com ) onto your second pc, and use yoru main pc to remote to it.

You don't need to use LogMeIn to control another PC within the same network!

You can enable Remote Desktop on the old PC (in System Properties), and connect to it from the other PC (using Remote Desktop Connection, or whatever they call it in Vista - maybe Terminal Services). It will be much faster than LogMeIn as you're connecting directly to the other PC (not over the internet) and you can use decent colour, and even sound if you want.

Something like this will do the trick.
