I recently bought a new laptop and it has been working fine till yesterday when i went to watch a film on it. id already watched this film on the laptop around a week before and it was fine. This time however there was a blue tint running through the film and everyone looks like smurphs. I checked other files and it appears that all my video files have this problem whether i play them with Vlc or WMP the problem stays. When i watch youtube videos etc its fine. Any thoughts would be great

that's actually extremely strange, and the exact same thing has started happening me yesterday. I tried new video card drivers and uninstalling/reinstalling codecs but no dice. Not quite sure what it is.

Is it a blue and green band about 2/4 across the page from the left? I had that and new drivers sorted it for me. But my DVD is stuttering with sound still :(
