ive been boating on the shannon for the last ten odd years or so...never tire of it..... but the weather!!!!!...so to sidestep the almost certainty of the imminant miserable summer...we've booked the boat in france this year instead with emerald star.....although the brochure with emerald star would make ballymun look appealing....its still quite vague in its descriptions of the towns and villages in the area we'l be cruising in...so a bit of experianced knowledge would be very much appreciated...btw were taking the boat from beaucaire - etang de thau- beaucaire
