anyone got unusual, funny or freeky hunting related stories? mine is about how i came across my first irish setter bin pictured below last weekend. its also how he got the unusual name. i work as a scaffolder and about 8 years ago i was scaffolding a restuarant i the middle of cork city. we were on the job about an hour when one of the lads heard a noise coming out of one of the wheelie bins left outside the door. we thought it was either a big rat or a one of the wino's who lived down the allyway, but we decided to open it. when we did out jumped a beautifull well looked after red setter. not knowing what to do we decided to tie him to the scaffold for the day to see if anyone would claim him. noone did and i took him back to tipp that evening. the rest is history and he turned out to be a great hunting dog with endless energy and bravery to match.
