    We all know that annoying music that plays down the phone while you are waiting to get connected to an operator, but what departments/businesses/companies are the biggest culprits?

    Let's try and compile a good list and vent our frustrations!

    The revenue and 123.ie's hold music are by far the most annoying I've ever come across.

    i call them for my job at least 10 times a day.

    either that or any company that have their own benefits on their hold music.

    just pure annoying!!

    Oh jays, how could i forget, i rang dem shower today, she give me the wrong number, point is, they got some message at the part where you say yes or no (if you want the number) if you dont say it quickly enough the auto voice keeps going:mad: costing you more money....:mad:

    NTL without a doubt. Over the space of 2 months, I rang them at least a dozen times. The longest wait was over 40 minutes. The average was around 15-20.

    And when you do get through to the rep(monkey), they have no details of all the previous calls, so you have to give them the info all over again, just to be told that they can't resolve it and an engineer will "call back". Funny thing is, not once did anybody ever call me back (even when I stopped paying the bills in protest, they just cut me off after 6 months without querying it!)
