Do I send another follow up?

    Hi All,

I went to a second round interview about 4-5 weeks ago. The interview went well and I thought I pressed all the buttons required. I was told I would find out the following week. The week passed. Nothing... A couple passed and I sent a follow up. The manager who interviewed me apologized and said that they had not made a decision but that they would let me know the next week. Guess what? The week came and went.... I was starting to think they just don't know how to say "Sorry but we found someone else.." but I was checking my website (a business I set up and had listed on my CV) and I saw that someone from this organizations head office in the UK was visiting it last Friday... So this would mean someone was looking at my CV... but why the length in time?

Should I send another follow up??

    Cheers,
    X

Sure you might as well - companies can sometimes a bit lax when it comes to recruitment, by contacting them again - expressing your interest in the position - it might just get them off their asses. Perhaps even asking them for feedback on your interview so that you can address it in future applications it will show intiative. You'll be the easiest person then to refer back to as well. I worked in a company that were like that and they never go around to hiring anyone for a position, one guy who wasn't the most qualified really impressed us with his willingness and he go the job.

    Best of luck!
