I don't think it's possible. The amino manual indicates you can set it to output to a 4:3 TV, but when I tried it, I couldn't find the options. So I'm stuck the same way as you are. Was on the phone to them last week but forgot to ask that question!

Haven't a clue regarding the extender, maybe somebody else here could give a recommendation.

    A.

As far as I remember, this is possible. You need to change your profile to be able to access the advanced settings. Use Profile button on the remote. Think the password was 1234.

In here you should be able to specify the output format and also the type of signal over the SCART cable.

Do you have any more info on this?
I have tried all the settings on my profile but i can't figure out where this setting is.

Ok, you need to change your profile to the advanced user. Press the Profile button and you should have 2 options, basic and advanced. Select the advanced one, the one with the picture of the devil and enter the pin number.

Once profile is changed, go into your settings. In work at the moment so trying to remeber off the top of my head. Think you press the menu button. This brings up all the options, radio, tv, TV on Demand, and setup on the far right.

Enter setup menu and you should see option here to change the aspect ratio.

I can check tonight to see if the above procedure is correct

    Select Mature Profile (Admin)
    Menu
    System Setup
    Box Setup
    Aspect Ratio

STB will reboot and come up with correct Aspect Ratio
