Anyone put up any early money in the hope of value?

I've left it late I guess but have gone with 3 - Slim Pickings, Chelsea Harbour, Black Apalachi (mad outside bet).

Slim Pickins finished a good third last year and has been treated for this race ever since.

i cant see slim pickings making the frame at all, he has had weight hike since last year, i know the horses who beat him have as well but there are some new entries that look interesting.

I have a huge list still and am waiting for the 5 day decs. If i had to go for 2 now they would be.

Longshanks (if he makes cut), 7th last year, loves the track, saved for this race, lower weight than last year.

Bewleys Berry, has gone up in weights but i really think he was going to win last year and quite nicely, ran a 2nd to Mr Pointment earlier in season then pulled up when not right distance. Finished 2nd over the course before as well.

Forget about trying to find the winner, lay the puddings out of Cloudy Lane @ 4/5-1

can anyone give me a list of horses left in the race? Did Longshanks make the cut?

    99 nags listed.

MasterMinded is running in John Smith´s Melling Chase Grade 1 (day 4) worth Ruby Walsh.

    my picks for todays racing

2:00 Gaspara E/w was 2nd last year at Aintree to course specialist Al Eile. Never seems to run a bad race. 14-1- RAN A BAD RACE

2:35 Our Vic Win- wins over 2m 4f at Cheltenham and this is a flat 3m 1f. Could go close i think. WINS

3:10 Harper Valley E/W- did he miss cheltenham or was he saved for this.

3:45 Thisthatandtother Win- made it to last fence at Aintree last year in National when went right through it, when getting tired. This is a better distance for him, and is the class horse in the race.

4:20 Lennon Win- Bold Front runner who enjoys quick pace races, flat track should suit and missed Cheltenham so is fresh.

4:55 Franchoek Win, no Celestial Halo to beat, should be easy.

5:30 Mohayer, in and out this season, not much weight either, and at 28-1 is too big for me not to put money on.

Our Vic was 3.5 for a place on Betfair and mean boots me wanted more so didnt take it

Pity about Kauto Star - Ruby not happy with his boss and very gracious of Nicholls to admit he got it wrong
