Skype audio in problem

    Hello,,

    I have a Dell SP2208 monitor with built-in webcam and microphone which I use with a mac mini (intel). I downloaded Skype 2.7 today to see if it would work with this monitor. The webcam is working fine, but i cannot get the audio in to work. In the "Audio MIDI setup", I have selected the input as the SP2208 monitor. under sound system preferences I have again selected the monitor as the input, and when i speak the input level goes to maximum. Finally, under skype preferences, i have also selected the monitor as the audio input.
    However when I try the "echo123" skype test, no audio input is detected. has anyone had any success in getting the audio to work on this monitor

    Skype is a little funny and at times, I only need to quit and start it again to get things running properly.
