If anyone is familiar with the mambo process the configuration.php file is giving me massive trouble. Installation says its not writeable even though permissions are 777. Fair enough so, i continued with the installation and copied the final code into the config file . All im getting now is 404. Anyone know anything about mambo installation?

This is a server permission issue, when you have finished installing mambo copy the code and then upload it to the root directory.

make sure you save the file configuration.php than go to your file permissions and set the configuration code to 777

if you type www.yourdoman.com/configuration.php you'll just get a blank screen
