Anyone views on this course? Going to play it soon. Looks like a well constructed course-plenty of water, though not so sure about trees etc Handicap is 22.

Played it in late December off the middle stakes. Attractive course but with very little trouble off the tee. The greens are well designed and have subtle slopes etc., so very easy to 3-putt. For €70, I thought it was very steep for a course that was not that testing. Lashed rain the day we played so I did not see it at its best. They've a huge amount of land there to play with. I heard its sister course (New Forest?) is a better track.

Quite an open course for most of the holes, esp. front 9. Quite long and has some really nice holes (9th stands out). New Forest is set in the grounds of what was (I think) the old Bewley's family estate. So there are mature trees and a much more settled atmosphere to the place.
Even forgetting the landscape, New Forest is still a better collection of 18 golf holes. Greens are exceptional in terms of design and surface.
