looking for nice speaker set up

    Could someone recommend a good set of permanent speakers I can connect my iPhone up to? I'm basically looking for something which will replace the CD player in my kitchen and become my home's main music source, so I'm not talking about flimsy portable speakers. At the same time I'm not like a music fanatic or something so don't want some sort of uber-setup costing an arm and a leg, just some decent quality speakers.

    My only other requirement is that they be fairly stylish / nice looking. Browsing around I'm shocked at how poor and tacky I think a lot of the iPod speakers actually look.
