Love the trees one.. Isolation and looks like they trying to stretch over the road framing it nicely. Lovely B & W conversion..

Really like 2. Great use of light in it. Looks like she'll be a good model.

No 1 is really nice too, simple but it works.

    Bit too tampered with.

The third one is good, but I'd love to see it in a higher contrast. Deeper blacks and brighter whites. I think it would really suit the subject matter.

AnimalRights, care to elaborate on your comment, no?

The second one is really good Phillip, well done.

I love the light in the second one! Very nice! :)
The black&white tree shot is great too, I like the way both trees are growing in the same direction... I'm a contrast-freak so I'd bring out more of the contrast in that shot, give it more oomph.. but like I say I'm a devil for ott. :o

I love the trees one and the stream/water one is nice.

All 3 appeal to me! Lovely shots! Love the trees especially (3) Real sense of windswept isolation there. :)

No 3 is excellent, as others have said it conveys the feeling of isolation extremely well. I think the contrast is just right.

    Bit too tampered with.

Sorry, dont get it...none of these have been edited in any major way...thanks for looking all the same ...

Thanks for all the comments...I agree about the contrast in number 3 ... it look ok on the laptop but does look a bit wishy-washy on my pc...

anyway here one with a bit more contrast..

2 and 3 are great for me.
Particularly the shot of your young lady - a lovely capture!

I'm not on good terms with soft water shots at the moment.

great composition in all images. this is the level im aiming for. excellent work.

no real problems with any of those photos but as i have to criticize something, in the 2nd one, id darken the bright patch in the sky a bit, i find it a bit distracting.

@dades...thanks for your comment...I know what you mean about the soft water shots....they are a bit up and down with me too...

@fguihen...thanks *blush*....with regard to the bright patch, I did a version with a toned down highlight and it looked kinda, well, unnatural somehow...don't know how best to explain....maybe I'll post it and let you see.....
