Does anyone have any recommendations for places to go for food in London? Nothing too fancy, just lovely food. :pac:

London is food heaven... Its got all usual family places like Planet Hollywood, TGI, Rainforest Cafe etc..

Camden is FULL of Asian/ Indian cuisine and stalls and food halls. There is an amazing all you can eat Chinese buffet on the main st in Camden just outside Tube station.

If you're around Piccadilly Circus you should check out Tiger Tiger bar. Its got a happy hour and really cheap good food.

Theres a old English pub called Rose and Crown. Serves gorgeous home made pub food; pies, mushy peas, gravy mash and huge burgers etc. I highly recommend them. http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/clubs_bars/venue-524.php

Might be good to give an idea of price range and style of food? Do you want push dinner, cheap lunch? Informal long meal with friends etc?

Me and Mr Me are only going over for a couple of days and have very little cash at the moment. I was thinking of little carribean type places that are tasty and spicey. Or anywhere else cheap and not nasty. Would love to go to a Ramsey place but not this time I'm afraid.

Tas - a really nice, good-value Turkish restaurant beside The Old Vic / Waterloo/ the London Eye
