I'm installing a graphics card here and a feckin screw got stuck under my motherboard. Please, please any suggestions on how to get it out? I don't have a magnetic screwdriver, or a magnet for that matter. I've tried banging the pc lightly on the ground and modifying a cotton swab to get underneath it, but no luck. I just want to install my card:( Help?

You can just undo the nearest screw holding the board to the case and release it that way.

Thanks for the reply! Just out of curiosity, what'd be the dangers of leaving it there?

    the universe could implode...

or a simple electrical short could happen across your motherboard killing your pc.

    best to remove it pronto

Dammit. That's what I thought. Feck Dell and their feckin case designs. Looks like it's pretty snug under there. I'm going to have to take the motherboard up. All for a screw. Thanks for the reply btw.:)

It's done. After a 10 minute pinball (should it be screwball) game involving me, my pc, 2 screwdrivers and lets not forget that feckin screw, during which time I dropped the pc, and am unsure whether it'll boot up, I got the bástaird in a pincer move with the 2 screwdrivers and dragged the smiling screw out by the head. I'm off to smash it with a hammer. Thanks for the replies doods.:D
