Anyone ever done this and is it possible to get (any of) your money back?
I made a mistake in the original booking and changing the details costs something like 100 euros per person which is more than the flight is worth.

You can apply for a refund of the taxes and charges (you won't get the actual fare back), but they will charge an admin fee which is a good precentage of what you would be refunded.

Yeah, I'd imagine the above post is what you can hope for, unfortunately.

I'm in kind of the same boat (plane?) as you. I'm booked to fly this weekend with Ryanair to see an event which is on at 1pm on the Sunday. I was due to fly back that evening at 9pm, but I recieved an e-mail from Ryanair telling me that my flight was changed from 9pm to 7am that morning, meaning I wouold be flying home before I even went to the event!

On the website they say that if Ryanair change the flight by more than 3 hours, then you can apply for a full refund, but it's near impossible to get through to their call centre. What a shock.

There's actually two contact numbers: the 'internet support' and the 'reservations' number. Which number are you calling? Like, is the reservations one solely for making them or for cancelling them too?

Feel free to hurl abuse at me for the above idiotic question!:o

There should have been a link on the notice email which allows you to accept the new times or be refunded. This is how it always worked for me in the past.

Similar query - I have flights booked for me and my daughter this evening but when I went to do the online checkin I discovered she is registered as 'Mr.' I don't know if I have to change the booking to correct this as I have been unable to get through to the reservations no. having tried ALL DAY yesterday. Can they refuse to board her? Any advice?

Title is irrelevant to an extent. Once the First and surnames match the ID being used, you will be fine.

Unfortunately no. There is a link allright, but it's to the 'manage my booking' section of the website, which really isn't much help for getting the refund.
