This one has done it's rounds but hey prices fall and technology gets better. I've got about 5k to 6k burning a hole in my pocket and am looking to upgrade from my canon xm2 to a better camera possibly hd . Uses for the new camera mainly include weddings and corporate events. Any recommendations - gratefully accepted. Also, anyone know a place that would do a trade in on xm2 in exchange for the new camera?

    Thanks in advance

I've heard good things about the canon XH range... but also recently had a look at the sony pmw-ex1 The footage from it looks stunning, records to memory cards so might be expensive to run for weddings...

you might get an XLH1 from the internet for that money, with the dollar the way it is you could probably get one, if your capturing straight to an NLE NTSC isnt really an issue
