    Hi there,
Ok – this is gonna be a long one, so sorry if I bore you.
I am currently working in the freight industry which I have to say, I have learned to despise. I am only in this job with 14 months and was promised this that and the other thing but as usual haven’t seen one thing. Anyway to cut a long story short. I am enrolling to begin a 3 year degree part time commencing in Sept in Human Resource Management. I cannot wait to get my foot in on it as I have always had a keen interest in HR, However with not having the relative experience, have never tried to get in to this area the workplace. My main plan was that when I start the course – to then start looking for something in HR, perhaps maybe taking a small dip in my salary as I know I would have to start somewhere, so maybe a trainee position in HR, where I could work my way up. But at the moment, work is killing me and I am at a loss as to what to do. I presume I would have a better chance getting a job in HR if I was studying, as opposed to waiting for course to start.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated…….

Hey there, the thing is you don't have HR experience so even when you start the course in September you still wouldn't have experience. I think you should start looking for a job now (Grads are done soon, so the earlier the better).

I know wat ur saying, but I just thought that I might be more likely to get a job in hr if potential employer could see that I was studying same ??
