Good Function/Pub Rooms to rent in Dublin??

How's it all hanging folks? I just want to ask if anyone knows of any good function/pub rooms in dublin. I would prefer if it was free as we will not be staying longer than 3 hours and will leave at 12. We are preferably looking for a place near thomas st/christchurch I know theres places like Doyles and Kennedys...but…

I know theres places like Doyles and Kennedys...but they all charge 100 odd euro for their rooms which is just too much for what we want! we just want a place to get together before going out!
