I have an american PS3 but am currently on the european PSN. I downloaded Kula World yesterday but the stupid PS3 won't let me play it. It keeps telling me that it cannot be played in the current video mode. I only have a standard definition TV which is connected by RGB scart to the TV. I presume the problem is with the game being PAL and the console outputting in NTSC. However I can't find where to change the video settings to PAL, all I can change it to is NTSC. I know the console can output in PAL, why the feck can't I change it or why can't the stupid console automatically change it.

Typical, I've only ever had problems with sony consoles

I don't think that's going to help in this situation as he needs to change the type of output from NTSC to PAL. What you've suggested only lets you change the video signal from a digital to an analogue signal.

Thats only useful for changing the console from a HD output back to the default analogue output.

What eo980 said is right, I need a way of changing the output from NTSC to PAL.

Hope I can do this otherwise I've wasted 5 euros on a game I can't even play.
