Ditto, Ive been harping on about Anderson since he signed while most others went on about Nani. Cant wait to see the best of this boy.

Having said that, Nani is showing very similar signs to Ronaldo when he first came. Albeit with a hell of a lot more end product - 4 goals and 13 assists.
F*ck me! I wasn't aware that he had so many assists... That is quite impressive for his first season playing a bit part role.

He will be class. He has had an excellent first season in a season where he was supposed to be nothing more than a bit part player. ONly the injuries to Carrick Scholes and Hargreaves put him in the team, his form has kept him involved.

He has been tiring in the second part of games but I believe this is due to a number of factors.

    1) He only came back from a broken leg last year, missing 5 months of the 06-07 seaason.

    2) He did not have a full pre-season, or summer rest due to the Copa America.

    3) A season in the English premiership is a lot more physically demanding than the Portugese or Brazil leagues.

I firmly believe that with a summer off, and a full pre-season that he will be pushing to be first choice next year.

Meh, He has had a few dynamic performances but seems to be hugely rated, especially on this board. Give him time and we will see but cant see where he will fit in as they have Hargreaves already who i think is a very good player.

    WTF comparing Hargreaves to Anderson!!?????

I presume he'll be going to the Olympics with Brazil though this Summer.

Are the Olympics recognisied by Fifa? I ask this as would Manchester United be forced to release him for the Olympics. As they dont start till August this will be when the English season is just starting again.

I seem to rememeber this occuring 4 years ago with Heinze and Ronaldo. They ended up playing, the only reason I thought they actually went is because the players wanted to go rather than they had to go.

Either way he should still get the summer off and get in a pre-season, they onyl difference he will start the season with Brazil rather than Man U.

Anderson was bought for the future, its a bonus what we are getting out of him this season. At 19 , he's only a nipper, going to be a tremendous player. Nani too, will only improve, both are still only novices with amazing potential.

Nani is older (2 years) and more complete that Anderson. I think Nani could be as good as Giggs, but not as good as Ronaldo.

Anderson is up there, and he's only 19. He has everything bar shooting boots so far, and that'll come with time. The big advantage he has over Fabregas as a potential player is that he's fast and can dribble, however he isn't as good as a passer as Fabregas. I think Anderson can catch up to Fabregas' level in 2-3 years. I think he's just amazing.

Nani has that end product, but is still very inconsistant. [Note however that most of Nani's assists have come from his excellent corners]
Anderson has not much end product yet, but he just has that touch of class, one might even say that touch of Scholes.

I don't think Nani will ever eclipse the Giggs of old, but if he comes anywhere close, he'll be a bargain.
