Help! Ruined leather!

Hey guys. I'm not sure if this is in the wrong place, but I'm after dropping some NAIL VARNISH on a brown leather couch. The stuff immediately stained the leather - or possibly it actually stripped some of the colour off it, either way there are big streaks of lighter colour on the sofa, and I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to fix this??

    Thanks!

    What colour is the sofa?

If its dark, shoe polish can take out most marks, but make sure that colours match up well.

We have a dark brown leather couch. One of the kids unplugged a plug in air freshener and left the thing sideways on the couch. Stuff leaked out and the very same thing happened. Major colour loss and the leather feels different texture.

We've insurance with land of leather who sent out a guy to attempt repair. First he had to dye the mark then apply some sealer that stinks like hell. Luckily its not in a very noticeable location but the couch will never be the same again.

Just a word of warning to the rest of ye' with leather and kids, they dont mix well!!!
